Self Care!

I like to think of self care as doing the things that you enjoy, whether it’s sitting down with a good book, making yourself an iced coffee or treating yourself to a new outfit! Whatever it may be, I’m here to give you some ideas for self care!

I always like to have a good breakfast first thing in the morning (or whenever I actually get up, which is often nearer brunch than breakfast). Here are a few of my favorite breakfasts.

omelette

Loaded Omelette – Made with eggs, dairy free cheese, tomatoes, ham and peppers! This breakfast is full of healthy fats and protein! One of my favorites.

Smoothie Bowl – Made with a dairy free Raspberry Smoothie and garnished with coconut, kiwi and dairy free chocolate chips!

Iced Coffee – Made with cold brew and my caramel creamer!

One of my favorite things to do to relax is to go for a walk along one of the beaches near where I live. This particular beach is always so secluded, it’s great for my dog to be able to run around. I live in such a beautiful part of Canada!

Reading – I’ve grown quite the collection of books in the last few years, and like nothing better than chilling out and reading! Here are a few suggestions!

And then finally…

Relaxing in the bath – I love to soak in the bath at the end of the day!
