Anyone for breakfast….

It’s true that breakfast is the most important meal of the day! Well, it is for me anyway. Is it just me who wakes up ravenous, or do you all feel like that too?

I love mixing up my breakfast choices. Some days I feel like bacon and eggs, and others I feel a little boujee! I love feeling like I’m indulging myself at breakfast, and so I thought I’d share some of my ideas with you.

Ahhhh, iced coffee. My absolute go-to every day! I mean literally every day – and sometimes twice or three times a day depending on how I feel. Since I’m dairy free, I only drink cashew, almond milk and other dairy free creamers. Here is my recipe, which is totally interchangeable.

  • Cold Brew or Iced Coffee (you can buy store bought ready made or just make a big batch of coffee and place it in the fridge overnight).
  • Cashew Milk (or milk of choice)
  • Caramel Macchiato Creamer (or creamer of choice)
  • LOTS of ice

I like to incorporate a lot of healthy fats in my breakfast as it keeps me full for longer.

I have become slightly obsessed with this breakfast! I absolutely love oatmeal and raisin bread, but since going gluten and dairy free, good breakfast options have become harder and harder to find. I then discovered this raisin bread at Sobeys and so I can now enjoy it once again!

  • Bottom Centre – Gluten Free Oatmeal with Raisins, Cinnamon and Cashew Milk

Another dose of healthy fats with this Avocado on Toast. I like to sprinkle red pepper flakes on top just to give in a bit of a kick.
